Figure 100
shows the 93000 Equations Based Terminology and the
ATE definitions related to the corresponding waveforms.
"Shape" corresponds to the "wavetable".
"Edge" corresponds to the "equation set" or "timing set".
N O T E
Other ATE manufacturers sometimes use different terminology. For
example, the term "marker" may be used instead of "edge", and "format"
may be used instead of "shape".

Equation Based Terminology
The shapes (RZ, RO, SBC, NRZ, Strobe and so on) are defined in the
Wavetable. Horizontal timing positions are defined by edge resources.
The positions are defined by equations and variables.
