vil_level and vih_level are user defined variables as in the
previous example without specs.
This example uses the spec parameters vcc_level, vol_level
and voh_level. Spec parameters are user defined. They must be
declared in the block SPECS included in the equation set. The
actual values of the spec parameters are specified in the Spec Tool
where you define spec sets with the corresponding spec values.
Download of Equation Sets
After you have entered one or more equation sets in the Level Equation
Editor you must download the equation sets to the hardware:
• Click
Download
in the right lower corner of the Level Equation
Editor. This download is absolutely necessary before you create
spec sets because the equation set provides the information (block
SPECS) which specs are to be included in the spec set.
• To save the information of the tester hardware in the level setup file
click S
in the Data Manager. After saving the contents of the
AVE
tester hardware to a file, you could shutdown the software and
continue later on. Then you simply reload the file to the hardware
and continue your work.
