You can directly type in a device cycle name. Alternatively, you can
select the device cycle name from a selection box. You do this follows:
1 Select
You see the selection box Select a Device Cycle.
2 Highlight a device cycle name and click Select.
The selected device cycle name is entered in the device cycle
column.
All other device cycle columns are automatically filled with the default
device cycle. This, by the way, is the reason why you have to define a
default device cycle in a wavetable.
If the default device cycle or the device cycle you have explicitly
entered is associated with data parameters the system automatically
enters default values for the data parameters:
• A 0 for every input pin or the drive part of an IO pin.
• An X for every output pin or the receive part of an IO pin
.
2. Select SELECT A DEVICE CYCLE

Appending a Vector
In a next step, of course, you can overwrite the default entries
according to your requirements.
You can also copy a vector range of your vector setup and append this
range. This is described in selection
page 283.
