Defining the Pins

When you set up a test, you first have to define the pins of your device
in the pin configuration. If the pin configuration has not been entered,
the software will not let you enter details about your device in any
other setup window. This lesson deals with the pin configuration.

In this lesson you will learn how to enter a pin configuration and how
to define pin groups to sum up pins with similar properties using the
Pin Configuration Editor.
Editing the pin configuration will remove other equation based setup
information (timing, levels) residing in the tester from previous
programming. You will learn how to edit the pin configuration and
which steps are required to avoid the loss of setup data.
