Restrictions when Generating an Overlay
The result plots must have the same dimensions, resolution and the
same ranges of value for both axes in each plot. If you try to add a result
plot to the overlay which does not obey this rule, an error message
similar to that shown below is displayed.
A fast shmoo plot can be added to a standard plot overlay. However in
this case only the tested cells added to the overlay have an effect on the
accumulated results.
Standard shmoo plot results can be added at any time to the overlay.
The overlay function keeps track of which result screens have been
added to the overlay screen. If you try to add a result screen that has
already been added to the overlay, no action takes place.
Title
The name entered in the Title: field is copied from the Result screen to
the Overlay screen whenever you add results to the overlay. Adding a
second result to the existing overlay causes the existing overlay title to
be removed. The second result's title is copied to the overlay title and
displayed above the plot.
