16-6 Results Set -Up
Result Name Selection
Enter a name for the results into the Result Name field. A new result
page, with a selection tab showing this name, is created when the
shmoo test is executed.
Pin Selection
As already mentioned a shmoo plot is based on a number of test execu-
tions. In order to evaluate the test results you can specify a list of
output pins in the Result Pins entry field. Only these pins are taken
into account for the test evaluations. Test results on other pins are
ignored.
To compose a list of result pins
1 Click on the arrow by the Result Pins box to obtain the Edit Pinlist
window.
2 Compose the pin list in the Edit Pinlist window and click ok.
Result Type Selection
Select the type(s) of result data to be measured from the Result Types
list:
• Pass/Fail
• Error Count Global
• First Failing Cycle
• First Failing Vector
• Measured Values
For every test executed during shmoo execution you get the results
types according to your selection in this list.
For example, if you select Pass/Fail and First Failing Cycle every entry
in your result page after executing the shmoo will provide
• pass/fail information
• the number of the first failing cycle for failing tests
Note that you have to select at least one result type. Otherwise, your
shmoo test will not be evaluated.
