Using the break feature

If you abort a test function that performs a measurement in the middle

of its run by clicking break (see

203), the Disconnect test func-

tion followed by the Connect test function will be executed before

control is passed back to the user. This is done in order to make sure all

relays are in a known state. In the case of the Continuity test function,

Connect is executed first, followed by Disconnect.

Executing break on any of the test functions acts as a global break at

the firmware command level. Any test functions or test flow programs

that use firmware commands will be aborted within two seconds of the

has been interrupted in this way returns a state of "break".
