Shmoo Tool
Available data parameters
454
• Timing hardware resources:
edge1, edge2, ... edge6
Another option to select an edge which you want to shmoo is to
specify a data parameter and the device cycle name:
You can have two different drive, two different drive complement
and two different compare data parameters in a device cycle.
However, every data parameter can occur several times in a device
cycle.
The first and second occurrence of a data parameter can be
addressed by <data parameter>/le (leading) and
<data parameter>/te (trailing), for example, D1/le, D1/te.
The available data parameters are:
– D1: first drive parameter
– D2: second drive parameter
– C1: complement of D1
– C2: complement of D2
– E1: first compare edge
– E2: second compare edge
The data parameter is specified in the Resource browser.
The associated device cycle is specified in the Device Cycle entry
field (see
"Device Cycle Selection"
• Level hardware resources
All level hardware resources discussed in the level setup can be
shmooed.
Select the required resource by double clicking on the entry in the
Resource Browser. The selected resource is copied to the axis resource
selection box.
