Sostituire le guarnizioni (4).
Posizionare i tubi di scarico testa
orizzontale (1) e testa verticale (2) con

le guarnizioni sulle rispettive teste e
serrare i dadi (3) alla coppia prescritta
(Sez. C 3).
Note
Per migliorare la tenuta, si
consiglia di applicare pasta sigillante
sul punto di giunzione del
presilenziatore (10) e il tubo scarico
testa verticale (2).
Posizionare il presilenziatore (10) dalla
parte inferiore del motociclo; infilare il
tubo del presilenziatore nel forcellone e
accompagnarlo fino a farlo calzare sul
tubo di scarico testa verticale (2) con
la guarnizione.

Refitting the exhaust
system
Refitting the exhaust pipes and
the presilencers
Change the gaskets (4).
Position the horizontal and vertical
head exhaust pipes (1) and (2) with
their gaskets to the heads and tighten
the nuts (3) to the specified torque
(Sect. C 3).
Note
To improve sealing, apply
sealant at the point where presilencer
(10) and vertical head exhaust pipe (2)
connect.
Install the presilencer (10) working
from the lower end of the motorcycle.
Slide the presilencer pipe through the
swingarm and ease it onto the vertical
head exhaust pipe (2) with the gasket
in-between.
Fix the spring (19).
