Svitare le viti (40) ed i dadi (41) che
fissano il coperchio flangia (16).
All'interno del coperchio flangia è
40
agganciato il connettore pompa
benzina (E), rimuoverlo dal coperchio
e scollegarlo dal cablaggio elettrico.
Note
Per evitare fuoriuscite di
carburante nelle operazioni
successive è consigliabile svuotare
completamente il serbatoio.
Sganciare i fissaggi rapidi di mandata
(F) e ritorno (G), facendo attenzione
che sono sprovvisti di valvola, quindi il
carburante se presente fuoriesce
dalle tubazioni.
Rimuovere il serbatoio sella (1) dal
veicolo.
Nel gruppo sella serbatoio sono
montati i seguenti particolari: la sella
(22) fissata con le viti (2) e le rosette
(15). I pioli (10) e (9), il paraspruzzi (37)
con le viti (39) e le rosette (38) e nella
parte anteriore le piastre (7) e (8) con
le viti (12).
Se sono stati rimossi questi
componenti, nel rimontaggio
applicare frenafiletti prescritto in tutti
i filetti, tranne nelle viti (2).
Per lo smontaggio delle flange
presenti sul serbatoio eseguire le
operazioni descritte alla (Sez. L 2).

Unscrew the screws (40) and nuts
(41) fixing the flange cover (16).
The fuel pump connector (E) is
hooked to the inside of the flange
cover. Remove the connector from
the cover and disconnect it from the
wiring.
to avoid loss of fuel during the next
operations.
Release the quick-disconnect delivery
(F) and return (G) fittings. Be careful
as these fittings have no valves and
any fuel in the hoses will spill out.
Remove the fuel tank-and-seat
assembly (1) from the vehicle.
The fuel tank-and- seat assembly
includes the following components:
seat (22) - retained by screws (2) and
washers (15), pegs (10) and (9),
splashguard (37) with screws (39) and
washers (38) and - at the front end -
plates (7) and (8) with screws (12).
If you have removed these
components, apply the specified
threadlocker to all threads on refitting,
except for the screws (2).
To remove the flanges from the fuel
tank, follow the instructions in (Sect.
L 2).
