In corrispondenza dell'attacco destro
del forcellone al telaio, sono montati

all'interno due distanziali (8) e (7).
Scollegare il connettore (A) del
sensore velocità.
Rimuovere la vite (B) che fissa il
serbatoio olio freno posteriore.
A questo punto è possibile rimuovere
il forcellone posteriore completo di
tubazione freno posteriore e
cablaggio sensore velocità.

Nel forcellone posteriore (1) sono
montati i pattini catena (14) e (16)
fissati con le viti (15), il parafango
inferiore (20) fissato con le viti (21), il
paracatena (18) fissato con le viti (15)

e la protezione calore (22) fissata con
le viti (21), per lo smontaggio di questi
particolari fare riferimento all'esploso
di inizio capitolo.
Controllo perno
forcellone

Verificare, prima di rimontarlo, l'entità
della distorsione del perno forcellone.
Ruotare il perno su di un piano di
riscontro e con uno spessimetro
B
verificare il valore della distorsione
(vedere Sez. C 1.1).
Sostituire i perni che risultano distorti
oltre il limite prescritto o che
presentano incrinature e/o
deformazioni.

There are two spacers (8) and (7)
sitting at the swingarm mounting
point on the right side of the frame.
Disconnect the speed sensor
connector (A).
Remove the retaining screw (B) of the
rear brake fluid reservoir.
The rear swingarm can now be
removed together with rear brake
hose and speed sensor wiring.
Mounted to the rear swingarm (1) are
the chain sliding shoes (14) and (16) -
retained by screws (15), the lower
mudguard (20) - retained by screws
(21), the chain guard (18) - retained by
screws (15) and the heat guard (22) -
retained by screws (21). If you need
to remove these components, see
the exploded view diagram at the
beginning of this chapter.
Checking the swingarm
pivot
Measure the amount of distortion
before refitting the swingarm pivot.
Rotate the pivot on a reference
surface and measure distortion with a
feeler gauge (see Sect. C 1.1).
Replace the pivot if cracked, distorted
or bent beyond the specified limit.
