Prima del montaggio, verificare che
B
sull'albero secondario sia presente il
distanziale (17).
Verificare che la calettatura dell'albero
secondario e quella del pignone
risultino in perfette condizioni.
Montare il pignone motore (14) con
catena, disponendolo con il mozzo
sporgente rivolto verso il motore.
Bloccare il dado (16) alla coppia di
serraggio prescritta (Sez. C 3), dopo
averlo lubrificato con grasso
prescritto.
Ribadire la rosetta di sicurezza (15) sul
dado.
Importante
Dopo il rimontaggio della
catena sulla corona, eseguire il
tensionamento nel modo descritto
alla sezione D 4.
Sostituzione anello di
tenuta su albero
secondario cambio
Note
le immagini rappresentano un
motore rimosso dal telaio. L'operazione
è possibile anche con motore installato
sul motociclo.
Dopo aver rimosso il pignone motore,

come precedentemente illustrato, sfilare
dall'albero secondario il distanziale (17)
con guarnizione O-Ring (18).
Utilizzando la punta di un cacciavite
scalzare dal carter l'anello di tenuta (11).
Importante
L'anello di tenuta e la
guarnizione O-Ring vanno sempre
sostituiti dopo ogni smontaggio.
Ingrassare la guarnizione OR di tenuta
(18) e installarla sul distanziale (17) del
pignone catena.

Introdurre il distanziale, dal lato con
guarnizione, sull'albero secondario e
portarlo in battuta sull'anello interno
del cuscinetto.
Installare sull'albero secondario la
bussola dell'attrezzo cod. 88713.2060
e dopo averlo lubrificato,
accompagnare in sede l'anello di
tenuta (11) nuovo.
Con il tampone dell'attrezzo, portare
in battuta l'anello di tenuta sul
cuscinetto del semicarter.

Rimontare il pignone catena come
descritto al paragrafo precedente.
Before assembly, make sure the
spacer (17) is in place on the
secondary shaft.
Check that the splines of secondary
shaft and front chain sprocket are in
good condition.
Fit the front chain sprocket (14) with
the chain. The projecting hub of the
sprocket must be facing the engine.
Grease the nut (16) with the specified
grease and tighten to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
Bend the safety washer (15) over the
nut.
Caution
Wrap the chain around the rear
chain sprocket and then set chain
tension as described in Section D 4.
Changing the gearbox
secondary shaft seal
Note
The engine is shown out of the
frame. This operation can also be
performed with the engine in the
frame.
Remove the front chain sprocket as
described above and then slip the
spacer (17) and its O-ring (18) off the
secondary shaft.
Prise the seal (11) out of the casing
using the tip of the screwdriver.
Caution
Always change seal and O-ring
after removal.
Grease the sealing O-ring (18) and fit
it to the spacer (17) of the front chain
sprocket.
Slide the spacer over the secondary
shaft and push it up against the
bearing inner ring. When you insert
the spacer, the side with the seal
must be facing inside.
Fit the bush of tool no. 88713.2060 to
the secondary shaft, lubricate the
new seal (11) and push the seal into
the seat.
Push the seal up against the casing
bearing using the tool drift.
Refit the front chain sprocket as
described at the previous paragraph.
