Smontaggio e revisione
tirante ammortizzatore
Rimuovere i tappi (20).
Svitare e rimuovere la vite superiore
(11) e quella inferiore (17).
Smontare il tirante completo (19).
Il tirante (19) è composto da un'asta
19
centrale (2), da due dadi (6) e (4) e da
due snodi sferici (5) e (3). Sugli snodi,
in corrispondenza del foro di
fulcraggio, lavorano due bussole (7).
Dopo aver rimosso le bussole
verificare, ruotando a mano l'anello
interno, il gioco dello snodo sferico: in
caso di gioco eccessivo sostituirlo.
Durante le operazioni di
ricomposizione fare attenzione al
dado (4) con filettatura sinistrorsa,
riconoscibile dalla segnatura (A): va
montato in corrispondenza della parte

segnata (A) dell'asta centrale (2).
L'interasse tra gli snodi deve essere
255 mm.
Modificando questa quota si modifica
l'assetto della moto.
Serrare i dadi (4) e (6) sull'asta
centrale alla coppia prescritta (Sez. C
3).

Removing and
overhauling the shock
absorber linkage
Remove plugs (20).
Undo and remove the upper screw
(11) and the lower screw (17).
Remove the complete linkage (19).
The linkage (19) consists of a middle
rod (2), two nuts (6) and (4) and two
ball joints (5) and (3). Two bushes (7)
work onto the joints, close to the
fulcrum hole.
Check ball joint play by turning the
inner ring by hand after removing the
bushes. Replace the ball joint in case
of excessive play.
At reassembly, ensure that the nut (4)
with left-hand threading (marked with
A) is fitted where marked with (A)
onto the middle rod (2).
The distance between joint centers
should be 255 mm.
If this distance is changed,
motorcycle track alignment will also
change.
Tighten the nuts (4) and (6) onto the
middle rod to the specified torque
(Sect. C 3).
