Smontaggio
semicarenatura sinistra
Operando sul lato sinistro, dall'interno
della carenatura, ruotare di ¼ di giro,
in senso antiorario, la vite di sgancio
rapido (18) per liberare la parte
anteriore della semicarena sinistra.
Agendo sulla parte posteriore della
semicarenatura, sfilare la molletta
(16) fino a disimpegnare il perno (15).
Per agevolare l'operazione spingere

dall'esterno la semicarena, in
corrispondenza del supporto telaio.
Rimuovere la semicarena sinistra (5)
sfilandola dai pioli di ritegno (A) del
serbatoio carburante.

Rimontaggio
semicarenatura sinistra
Prima di procedere al rimontaggio,
assicurarsi che sul lato interno della
semicarena risultino correttamente
installati i gommini (3) e la guarnizione
PUSH
(20), sul perno (15).
Dovendo sostituire il perno (15), nel
montaggio applicare sulla filettatura
frenafiletti prescritto e bloccarlo alla
coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Note
Per agevolare il montaggio,
A
lubrificare con un velo di grasso i pioli
(A) del serbatoio.
Montare la semicarena sinistra (5) ,

partendo dall'estremità posteriore ed
inserendo i pioli del serbatoio nei
gommini (3).
Spingere la semicarena in
corrispondenza del perno posteriore

(15) per poter agganciare la molletta
LOCK
(16) all'estremità del perno stesso.
Agganciare la vite di sgancio rapido
(18) sulla parte anteriore della
semicarena, spingendolo e
ruotandolo di ¼ di giro in senso orario.

Removing the left fairing
Working on the left side, twist the
quarter-turn fastener (18)
counterclockwise through one
quarter of a turn from inside the
fairing to release the front section of
the left fairing.
Slip off the clip (16) placed at the rear
end of the fairing until disengaging
the pin (15). Push on the fairing from
the outside near the frame mount to
aid disengagement.
Ease the left fairing (5) off the
retaining pegs (A) of the fuel tank.
Refitting the left fairing
Before assembly, make sure the
rubbers (3) and the seal (20) are
correctly located to the pin (15) on the
inside of the fairing.
If the pin (15) has been replaced,
apply the specified threadlocker to
the thread on refitting and tighten to
the specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Note
Grease the fuel tank pegs (A)
lightly to facilitate installation.
Install the left fairing (5). Begin with
the rear end and ensure that the fuel
tank pegs locate into the rubbers (3).
Push on the fairing near the rear pin
(15) until the clip (16) engages the pin
end.
To lock the quarter-turn fastener (18)
at the front end of the fairing, push in
and twist clockwise through one
quarter of a turn.
