Rimuovere la semicarena sinistra
(Sez. E 2).

Svitare le viti sui morsetti (48) e (44)
partendo sempre da quello negativo.
Svitare le viti (2) dei piastrini (3) del
supporto batteria (4).
Rimontaggio batteria
Installare la batteria sul tappettino del
supporto batteria.
Montare i due piastrini (3) inserendo
le estremità (A) nelle asole (B) delle
linguette di gomma (C) del tappettino
e serrare le viti (2) alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Verificare che i contatti non siano
ossidati e serrare le viti dei morsetti
(48) e (44) alla coppia prescritta (Sez.
C 3), applicando spray idrorepellente.
Rimontare la semicarena sinistra
(Sez. E 2).

Removing the battery
Note
This paragraph uses the same
reference numbers (48) and (44) as in
the tables in chapter "Arrangement of
wiring on frame" in Section P 1.
Remove the left fairing (Sect. E 2).
Unscrew the screws on terminals
(48) and (44). Always begin with the
negative terminal.
Unscrew the screws (2) of the plates
(3) of the battery mount (4).
Refitting the battery
Place the battery over the plate of the
battery mount.
Fit the plates (3) so that the ends (A)
locate into the slots (B) of the mat
rubber tabs (C) and tighten the
screws (2) to the specified torque
(Sect. C 3).
Check the contacts for oxidization and
tighten the screws of the terminals
(48) and (44) to the specified torque
(Sect. C 3). Apply water-repellant
spray.
Refit the left fairing (Sect. E 2).
