HereÕs a summary of the procedure to follow to conÞgure a Direct
T1 or a PRI network interface:
1. From the Network Configuration menu, choose Configure T1.
2. From the T1 Network Configuration menu, choose Set Network
Name.
The network name letter grid appears; type in the network
name you want.
3. Choose Set Connection Type.
A pop-up box appears.
¥ Choose
if you want to choose a direct T1 connection.

if you want to choose a dialed T1 connection.
PRI
After you make your choice, the Set Line ConÞguration menu
option becomes active.
4. Choose Set Line Configuration .
You see the appropriate menu for the network connection you
chose in the previous step, Direct T1 or Dialed T1.
