Setting the 30 Frames Per Second Threshold

The following table explains the choices available.
Setting
Automatic
Lets the system determine the highest common
transmission protocol for sites participating in
the videoconference. You should keep this
default setting at all times except for testing
purposes.
H.261 CIF
Provides a video resolution of 352 by 288 lines
and a frame rate of 15 or 30 frames per second
(fps). In general, H.261 offers the best video
quality at high transmission rates. If the far-end
site canÕt use this format, the system falls back
to
H.261 QCIF
Provides a video resolution of 176 by 144 lines
and a frame rate of 15 fps.
H.263 CIF
Provides a video resolution of 352 by 288 lines
and a frame rate of 15 fps. In general, H.263
offers the best video quality at low transmission
rates. If the far-end site canÕt use this format, the
system falls back to
H.263 QCIF
Provides a video resolution of 176 by 144 lines
and a frame rate of 15 fps. If the far-end site
canÕt use this format, the system falls back to
H.261 QCIF
To set the video transmission format:
1. From the Video Configuration menu, choose Set Video Format.
A pop-up window appears, listing the choices.
2. Choose the desired setting and press ENTER .
The current setting appears.
If you have the 30 frames per second (fps) accelerator board
