ConÞguring Data Ports

Protocol
Choices are:
Port Disabled Ñ Disables the port. (Default setting.)
Ñ ConÞgures the port to communicate with devices
GroupShare-1
that support the PictureTel GroupShare-1 protocol. All other
conÞguration choices on the Data Port conÞguration menu are
automatically set for you. You can override these defaults if
necessary, but it is recommended that you keep them. The
corresponding data port on the far-end system must be conÞgured
exactly the same. You can only conÞgure one data port at a time for
GroupShare-1.
Ñ ConÞgures the port to communicate with devices
GroupView 2.x
that support the PictureTel GroupView 2.x protocol. All other
conÞguration choices on the Data Port conÞguration menu are
automatically set for you. You can override these defaults if
necessary, but it is recommended that you keep them. The
corresponding data port on the far-end system must be conÞgured
exactly the same. You can only conÞgure one data port at a time for
GroupView 2.x .
Ñ ConÞgures the port to communicate with devices that
GroupBoard
support the PictureTel GroupBoard protocol. All other conÞguration
choices on the Data Port conÞguration menu are automatically set
for you. You can override these defaults if necessary, but it is
recommended that you keep them. The corresponding data port on
the far-end system must be conÞgured exactly the same. You can
only conÞgure one data port at a time for GroupBoard.
Ñ ConÞgures the port to communicate with
LiveSharePlus 4.0
devices that support the PictureTel LiveSharePlus 4.0 protocol. All
other conÞguration choices on the Data Port conÞguration menu are
automatically set for you. You can override these defaults if
necessary, but it is recommended that you keep them. The
corresponding data port on the far-end system must be conÞgured
exactly the same. You can only conÞgure one data port at a time for
LiveSharePlus 4.0.
