Setting the Source Name
You can determine the name to be used for each video source on the
menus, prompts, and messages. If you have several different video
sources, you can choose names for those sources that let you easily
identify them.
Choose any name of no more than 10 characters and spaces as the video
source name.
To set the video source name:
1. From the Video Source Configuration menu, choose the video
source that you want to configure.
2. From the Source Configuration menu for that video source,
choose Set Source Name.
An entry screen appears, asking you to enter the source name.
For example, you could name your main camera, Group and
your document camera, Extra.
3. Using the letter grid, enter the video source name and press
ENTER . (See "Using the Letter Grid to Enter Information" on
page 1-14 for instructions on using the letter grid.)
The video source name appears.
Setting the Camera Pan Direction
If your camera has this capability, you can pan (move to the right or
left), tilt (move up or down), and zoom your near-end main or
auxiliary camera. Because you can automatically pan, tilt, or zoom
this camera, it is referred to as a PTZ camera.
The camera pan choices let you select the direction the camera
moves when you press the
