If you are using only one channel, that channel must be
connected to the top connector of the V.35 network interface
board in order to make outgoing calls. If you are using both
channels, the external communications equipment on both
channels must match. For example, both channels of the
external communications equipment must be set for either
switched carrier operation or constant carrier operation and
both channels must be set to the same clock rate.
