Setting the Audio Transmission Format

You can select the type of audio transmission format for your video
calls through the Audio Format menu. When you choose the
Automatic
appropriate audio transmission format based on which formats are
supported by the far-end system and a predetermined order of
preference.
The following list shows the order in which the system chooses the
transmission format:
PT724™
G.728
G.722-48
G.722-56
G.711
You should keep the

Provides an audio quality comparable to that of
an ordinary telephone, or 3.2 kHz bandwidth.
This method of transmission consumes up to 64
kbps of bandwidth. Venue•2000 uses G.711, the
minimum standard, when other transmission
formats canÕt be negotiated with the far-end
