Equipment
You can add optional equipment to your Venue
your PictureTel sales representative:
Cart Ñ Several models of portable carts are available to hold
your videoconferencing system modules.
Look-At-Me-Buttonª (LAMBª) Ñ You can place these wall-
mounted or table-top devices around your room to let people
far from the keypad control camera movement and mute or
unmute near-end microphones.
Additional cameras Ñ You can connect additional cameras
(such as auxiliary PTZ cameras or document cameras) to your
Venue
2000. A total of four cameras, including the main
camera, can be connected to your system.
VCRs Ñ You can connect one or two VCRs to your Venue
to play and record video and audio during your conference.
Additional microphones and speakers Ñ You can add audio
peripherals, such as additional microphones or speakers, to
your system to enhance the audio quality of your meetings.
Other videoconferencing meeting tools Ñ You can connect
optional equipment such as a scanner or a video scan converter
used in combination with a Macintosh
personal computer to your Venue
T.120 peripherals Ñ You can connect additional T.120 devices
such as GroupBoard
Video accelerator board Ñ You can install the video accelerator
board to enable your Venue¥2000 to transmit video at 30
frames per second (the same frame rate as broadcast television).
Phone-Add modem Ñ You can install the Phone-Add modem
to allow people who donÕt have videoconferencing systems to
join your conferences via an analog telephone line.
