Blank Screen
If you have this symptom...
There is no
PictureTel Ready
message on your screen; the
screen is blank.
The following table summarizes the corrective actions you can
follow if the
PictureTel Ready
and the screen is blank.
1. Check to see if the system is in Standby mode by
pressing any key on the keypad.
When the system hasnÕt been used for a certain period
of time, it goes into Standby mode. In Standby mode,
the camera turns around and the screen goes blank.
(The PowerCam 30 remains facing forward.)
2. Make sure that all cable connections to the electronics
module are correct and secure.
3. Make sure the power to the electronics module and
monitor is turned on.
4. If your monitor has multiple inputs such as Video 1 and
Video 2, make sure that the correct video source is
selected.
5. Make sure that you did not start the system with any
diskette other than system software.
If you attempt to start the system with a diskette other
than system software Diskette 1 or an option diskette,
the screen remains blank. Remove the diskette and
restart the system.
If your screen is still blank, call your PictureTel service
provider.
