Setting ISDN Call Trace

This option enables you to select the level of the internal ISDN
interface call tracing information recorded in the system log Þles. A
PictureTel service provider can use this information to isolate an
ISDN problem.
You can use this exercise to isolate certain ISDN problems.
To set the ISDN call trace:
1. From the System Exercises menu, choose Set ISDN Call Trace.
A pop-up window appears, listing the available choices.
2. Choose the desired setting and press ENTER .
Off
Full -
the network are recorded as well as transactions between
additional internal network layers.
Host
interfaceÕs internal layers are recorded.
Local
interface and the network are recorded.
Tri-BRI
interface and the network are recorded.
3. Make a video call to a far-end site.
All call tracing information is added to the system log and can
be used by a PictureTel service provider to diagnose a network
problem.
- No call tracing is recorded. This is the default.
