Allowing Changes to the Dialing Directory

The Dialing Directory is a database that contains information about
the videoconferencing sites that you call. You can decide whether or
not you will allow users to make changes to the Dialing Directory.
The default setting is to allow changes.
To prohibit changes to the Dialing Directory:
From the System Security Settings menu, choose Allow Changes
in Dialing Directory.
The indicator light toggles on or off. If the indicator light is on,
the system allows users to make changes to the Dialing
Directory. If the indicator light is off, changes are not allowed to
the Dialing Directory.
Calls can still be made from the Dialing Directory, even if

you have prohibited changes to it.

Enabling Auto Answer Mode

The systemÕs factory default setting requires that you answer
incoming video calls manually. You can set your system to Auto
Answer mode, which means that video calls are answered with no
human intervention. The far-end site automatically appears on your
screen after a brief ring.
