Setting the Phone Number Prefix
The
Set Phone Number Prefix
number that is dialed before all phone numbers.
For example, if you have a PBX (private branch exchange), you may
have to dial 9 before making a call. If you enter that number as the
phone number preÞx, you donÕt have to manually dial it before each
call.
You can also use this setting to automatically supply a call record
reference to an external IMUX (inverse multiplexer).

Setting Automatic Redial

The
Set Redial on Line Drop
redial when one line of a multiline call is dropped.
If the indicator light is on, it means that the system
automatically redials the phone number if the second line is
dropped. If the system canÕt reconnect the line, you can choose
to redial the line or remain in a one-channel call.
If the indicator light is off, it means that you are prompted to
redial the phone number if the line is dropped.
In most cases, you should keep this feature on.
