Setting the System Standby Mode

Enable system standby mode
Set how long you want the
system to wait before it goes
into standby mode
When the Venue¥2000 is not in a call, the system goes into standby
mode after a set time period has elapsed. In standby mode, the
message goes away, and the main PTZ camera turns
PictureTel Ready
around and faces backwards. (The PowerCam 30 remains facing
forward.) The default period is Þve minutes.
In the System Standby menu, you can either shut off standby mode
entirely or change how long you want the system to wait before it
goes into standby mode.
The default settings for this menu are:

To disable the standby time settings:
1. From the General Configuration menu, choose Set System
Standby.
The System Standby menu appears.
2. Choose System Standby.
