Setting the VCR Recording Mode
Use the
Set Recording Mode
ConÞguration menu to select the image that is sent to the VCR.
The following table explains the choices available.
Setting
Video Viewed
The image that appears on the monitor is
recorded on the VCR. For example, if the far-
end is currently being displayed on the
monitor, the far-end image is recorded on the
VCR. Or, if you are previewing a near-end
video source, the near-end preview image is
recorded on the VCR.
Video Sent
The current near-end video source is recorded
on the VCR, and not the far-end. This can be
useful if you are broadcasting a class and want
to record it at the same time. For example, if
you are giving a presentation using several
near-end camera sources, they are all recorded
on the VCR.
To set the VCR recording mode:
1. From the Video Source Configuration menu, choose Configure
VCR Source.
2. From the VCR Source Configuration menu, choose Set Recording
Mode .
A pop-up window appears, listing the choices.
3. Choose the desired setting and press ENTER .
