Using Automatic Camera Pointing

F Y I
Your Venue¥2000 may use one of four main cameras:
PictureTel 80 Dynamic Locating Camera
PowerCam 100 with LimeLight
PictureTel 70 Room Camera
PowerCam 30
The main camera usually sits on top of your monitor. It captures live
motion video or still images from your site. You can pan (move to
the right or left), tilt (move up or down), or zoom the main camera.
Because you can automatically pan, tilt, or zoom this camera, it is
referred to as a PTZ camera.
The main camera includes a built-in infrared receiver that enables
you to control your videoconference from the keypad.
If you have the PictureTel 80 camera or a LimeLight device, you can
use Automatic Camera Pointing. Automatic Camera Pointing senses
voices in a room and points the camera at the speaker. It
automatically calculates the correct pan angle, tilt angle, and zoom
range of the camera. If two or more people in the room begin a
conversation, Automatic Camera Pointing adjusts to include all
speakers in the frame.
