The Venue
2000 keypad controls the videoconferencing system by
sending infrared signals to the infrared signal receiver on your main
camera. If you have a Model 50 system, you have a wireless keypad.
The Model 30 system comes with the QuickPad, a hand-held remote
control. Both keypads can be used by all Venue¥2000 models.
By pressing buttons on the keypad, you can send video images from
your system cameras, adjust the sound you hear, or move the
cameras. You can even have two or more keypads in the room
simultaneously operating the Venue
The wireless keypad has separate sections to control the near end
and far end, and allows you to set up to four presets each for near-
end and far-end sites. The keypad can be up to 15 meters (50 feet)
away from your main camera and still control the videoconference.
The keypad is divided into the basic sections illustrated below.
