Turn on the Automatic Camera
Pointing capability
Specify whether Automatic
Camera Pointing is on when you
enter a videoconference

Automatic Camera Pointing locates the speaker in the conference
room and then adjusts the pan, tilt, and zoom automatically. If no
one is speaking, it provides a view of the room.
To set Automatic Camera Pointing:
1. From the Video Configuration menu, choose Set Camera
Configuration.
2. From the Camera Configuration menu, choose Set Automatic
Camera Pointing .
Using Automatic Camera Pointing
After you have enabled Automatic Camera Pointing, you can use
Automatic Camera Pointing on the near end or the far end, or both.
There are two buttons labeled
one in the Near End Image Control portion and one in the Far End
Image Control portion.
Note: You cannot use Automatic Camera Pointing for Far End
Camera Control (FECC) in a multipoint
videoconference.
If you press the near-end
when Automatic Camera Pointing is disabled, you see a pop-up
menu that allows you to enable Automatic Camera Pointing, if you
desire.
