higher frame rate. In general, you see improved video quality when
the system operates at a rate of 30 frames per second. However,
there may be times when you prefer the slower picture you get at
15 fps.
The following table explains the choices available.

The 30 fps option is only available with the H.261 CIF video
F.Y.I.

transmission format.
To set the 30 fps threshold:
1. From the Video Configuration menu, choose Set 30 FPS
Threshold .
A pop-up window appears, listing the choices.
2. Choose the desired setting and press ENTER .
The current setting appears.
Description
Video is transmitted at 30 fps when the data rate is
at or above 384 kbps (336 kbps for restricted calls)
Video is transmitted at 30 fps when the data rate is
at or above 512 kbps (448 kbps for restricted calls)
Video is transmitted at 30 fps when the data rate is
at or above 768 kbps (672 kbps for restricted calls)
Video is transmitted at 30 fps when the data rate is
at or above 1536 kbps (1344 kbps for restricted
calls)
The system does not transmit at the 30 fps rate.
You may want to use this setting if you are
demonstrating the system or if you prefer the
slower picture at 15 fps.
