The 3.0L engine's throttle body is a 1 piece casting which includes the upper intake manifold. In order
to remove the throttle body, the entire upper manifold must be removed. Refer to Section 3 for the
proper procedures.
1. Loosen the air inlet tube clamps, then separate the tube from the throttle body and air cleaner housing.
Remove the tube from the vehicle.
2. If equipped, remove the throttle linkage shield.
