Removal & Installation - Ford Ranger Maintaince And Repair Manual

1. Ensure that the antenna is in the fully retracted position.
2. Remove the retaining screws for the right−hand front wheel splash shield for access to the lower
retaining screw.
3. Remove the lower antenna mounting bracket retaining screw.
4. Unsnap the antenna base cap from the antenna base and remove it.
5. Loosen and remove the antenna−to−base retaining nut.
6. Disconnect the electrical wire harness plug and the antenna lead−in wire at the antenna.
7. Remove the antenna through the fender/splash shield access.
8. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
Fenders
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
Ranger
1. Clean out all dirt from the fender attaching hardware and lubricate them to ease removal.
2. Remove the grille.
