Operator Transaction Logs

When the Transaction Logs parameter is enabled (see
system keeps a log of the commands an operator executes while working with Bridge Talk.
Each entry in the operator transaction log file includes the time the entry is logged, operator
station number, operator sign-in name, command the operator performed that is being logged,
and any additional information specific to the action being logged.

To view or print Operator Transaction Logs using File Management menu options:
1. Follow instructions on printing Operator Transaction Logs and other files provided by
Print
on page 199 or for viewing Operator Transaction Logs and other files provided by

on page 201. (You can directly access transaction logs from the /usr/dcb/dbase/ologs
directory.)
If you choose to print a transaction log, a screen listing log files appears from which you

can select the transaction log you want to print.
If you choose to view a transaction log, the system displays the Log Selection screen
l

2. Select a file to print, or if you choose to view an operator transaction log, specify the filter
criteria in the Log Selection screen. See

If you choose to print a transaction log, the log for the date you selected is sent to the

printer.
If you choose to view a transaction log, the Operator Transaction List screen

appears listing the transactions according to the filtering criteria you specified.
