Using ftp

The ftp command is a standard TCP/IP protocol for copying files between hosts. Unlike the rcp
command, it provides limited security by permitting access to unlisted hosts.

The system uses tcp port 21 for ftp command requests and port 22 for ftp data requests. These
are standard port numbers and should be compatible with your software (that is, your remote
host's software should issue ftp command and data requests to the system on these ports).
