Configuring System-Wide Settings
To configure system messages:
1. Select System Administrator Main > Configurations > Voice Message Configuration.
The system displays the
Voice Message Configuration
2. Select the appropriate option for each type of message listed on the screen:
Tone — Sound the currently defined tone to indicate condition.
l
Message — Play preassigned voice message (msg nnn) to indicate condition. For
l
descriptions of voice messages, see
page 98.
Both (default) — Sound the tone and play preassigned voice message to indicate
l
condition.
Use Tone or Both when an immediate warning is required. The Message setting could
delay the warning message if all annunciators are busy when the condition requiring the
warning occurs.
The settings apply to every conference supported by the system. You do not have to reboot
the system after changing settings.
