48 Administration and Maintenance of the CS700/CS780 Audio Conferencing Server
Description
Specifies the number of telephone keys conferees must press to
use certain conference features.
ONE (default) — The system requires conferees to press one
l
digit for these features.
TWO (recommended) — The system requires that conferees
l
press two digits. Two-digit input reduces the possibility that a
frequency in the DTMF range occurs and causes the system
to respond as though a conferee pressed a DTMF digit.
Tip:
If you change this setting from ONE to TWO,
Tip:
conferees must press *0 to ask for help, and
moderators must press *7 to turn on security.
Because lines are muted during Polling, two-digit
recognition does not apply.
For more information on accessing conference features using
telephone keys, see the BridgeTalk User's Guide.
Specifies the number of telephone keys conferees must press to
enter the Question queue during a Q&A period.
ONE (default, recommended) — The system requires
l
conferees to press one digit to enter the Question queue.
TWO — The system requires that conferees press two digits
l
to enter the Question queue. Two-digit input reduces the
possibility that a frequency in the DTMF range occurs and
causes the system to respond as though a conferee pressed
a DTMF digit. If you set this field to TWO, conferees must
press *1 to enter the Question queue.
Specifies whether or not the system generates Operator
Transaction logs.
ON (recommended) — The system generates transaction logs.
OFF (default) — The system does not generate transaction logs.
See

on page 216 for more information.
