By default, the system sounds warning tones at each of the following intervals before the
conference is scheduled to end:
15 minutes
l
10 minutes
l
5 minutes
l
4, 3, 2, 1 minutes until the conference ends
l
To configure the frequency with which warning tones are sounded:
1. Select System Administrator Main > Configuration > Warning Tone Configuration.

2. Select Y or N under the minute number to specify when you want warning tones to play.
The changes do not affect in-progress conferences, which use the previous configuration.
3. Save (or cancel) your changes.
Note:
The warning tone is a 2-beep tone followed by a 3-beep tone.

Using External Passcode Validation

The optional External Passcode Validation (EPV) feature enables the system to validate
security passcodes (moderator and conferee codes) and Personal Identification Numbers (PIN
codes) on an external server.
Warning Tone
Specify warning tones to be played for unattended conferences.
The code group configuration must have warning tones enabled.
Specify Y or N for number of minutes before conference end time.
Note: Changes will not affect conferences already in progress.
