Clear Network Statistics

This procedure will take approximately 5 to 7 minutes.
Follow this procedure to clear the Network Statistics files:
1. Login using a maintenance password.
2. Select Clear Network Statistics. The System will display the prompt, 'Are You Sure'?
3. Type 'Y' to clear the files.
Tip:
Clear the Network statistics minimally every 3 months.
Tip:

Amend Date and Time to Reliable Source

Follow this procedure to amend the date and time:
1. Use the Maintenance and Admin Menu to select the System Date and Time.
2. Adjust the clock to reliable source date and time.
3. Save any changes.
Visual Card Inspection
This procedure takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
1. None of the Cards situated in the main chassis should display RED or BLUE lights.
2. All Network Cards (Trunks) display:
A flashing Orange FAIL light during startup, but the FAIL light turns off during normal
l
operations.
No lights for working trunks
l
Orange lights for any faulty trunks or trunks that have no connection.
l
The Green RUN light at all times.
l
3. All DSP Cards should displays:
GREEN RUN light during startup
l
No lights during normal operations.
l
The Red FAIL light will be on during startup and be off during normal working.
l
4. The LAN/CPU card displays:
The flashing RED FAIL lights during startup.
