7. Loosen the screws on the top and bottom latches of the back board.
Note:
The screws are fixed to the latch assemblies; do not attempt to remove them.
Note:
8. Flip the card's top latch half-way up and the bottom latch half-way down.
9. Flip the latches on the card all the way to disengage the card from the backplane, and pull
the card straight back out of the system chassis.
You should not feel any resistance when pulling the card from the chassis.

Inserting the PRI

Always insert the boards of the PRI card by inserting the back card first.
Follow this procedure to safely insert the T1 board:
1. Carefully insert the back card into the slots at the top and bottom of the empty bay, and
gently push it straight all the way into the chassis.
If you feel any resistance while pushing the card in, STOP immediately, pull the card out,
and try repositioning the card in the slots. If you need assistance, contact Customer
Support.
2. Flip the card's top latch down and the bottom latch up simultaneously to connect the card to
the system backplane.
3. Tighten the screws on the latch assemblies.
4. Connect the trunk cables to the original ports.
5. Carefully insert the front card into the slots at the top and bottom of the empty bay, and
gently push it straight all the way into the chassis.
6. Flip the card's top latch down and the bottom latch up simultaneously to connect the card to
the system backplane.
The blue HOT SWAP LED turns off when the board is locked into place.
7. Type this command at the command prompt:
isdnmgr -start <1-based board number>
The RUN LED will turn off. Trunks are restored after about 15 seconds.
8. Verify the trunk status for this board by using the Network Status screen the Maintenance
menu.
