System Maintenance
Cleaning the Air Filter Assembly
Use this procedure to clean the air filter assembly:
1. Remove the assembly from the Front of the system chassis see
Components
The CS700 has four spring-loaded screws.

The CS780 has two spring-loaded screws.
l
2. Remove the vented panel from the chassis.
3. Remove the air filter from the chassis.
4. Clean the filter using an electronic equipment vacuum cleaner.
5. Put the cleaned filter back into the chassis.
6. Reattach the vented front panel.
Cleaning System Drives
Use commercially available drive cleaning kits to clean system drives.
File Maintenance
Check Files
This procedure will take approximately 7 to 10 minutes.
1. Check all files for any abnormalities at the File Management menu.

Do NOT look at any files in the CDR/CODR directory on the SAME day the file is

2. Check alarm files and logs for any errors.
Delete Unwanted Files
Remove any DRP files that are not required. Verify that the total DRP file time does not exceed
the system limits. Warnings will be shown in BridgeTalk. This procedure will take approximately
10 to 15 minutes.

The DRP (Digital Recording Playback) is cleared by moving all files from the DRP
