If your ftp package forces file names to upper-case, do not use ftp for transferring configuration
files (files residing in /usr/dcb/dbase/admin) to the system.

Creating Files Off-line for Downloading

You can create selected files off-line and download them to the system using ftp or rcp.
Applicable file types are tag files and dial lists.

Creating Tag Files Off-Line

A Tag file includes a list of up to nine indexed polling choices. When an operator polls a
conference, conferees register their choices by entering on their telephone keypads the index
number that represents their choice. Tag file names can include up to eight characters, with no
extension. The file format is standard ASCII text, with a 9-line limit.
Each line consists of an index (digits 1 to 9) followed by white space and any number of
characters; however, the system uses only the first 40 of these characters. If an index appears
twice, for example, two 9's occur, the last occurrence is used. The system ignores invalid
indexes (for example, 0).

Creating Dial Lists Off-Line

A dial list contains entries that contain the necessary information to place a call. You can create
a dial list using any text editor.
Use the following conventions when creating a dial list file:
1. Start the first line with an @. This line may also contain the security code, if one is required
to enter the conference. Security codes may contain up to 16 characters. A dial list for a
conference with a security code equal to 84758475 would start with this line:
@84758475
But a dial list for a conference with no security code begins with this line:
@
