Configuring the OPG is a two-part process:
1. Edit the Port Groups Configuration File (PortGroupsOB.txt).
2. Load the configuration onto the system.
Configuration of OPG is accomplished by someone with root access using vi or another
text-based editor to modify the Port Group Configuration file, PortGroupsOB.txt. Ftp may be
used to transfer the file to the system.

After editing PortGroupsOB.txt remember to save it in text-only mode.

This file is stored in /usr/dcb/dbase/admin. The outbound port group configuration file consists
of the three settings described in
Table 13: PortGroupsOB.txt file settings

The following example file, when loaded onto the system, configures the system for two
Outbound Port Groups: OPG_One and OPG_Two. Notice that OPG_One is designated as the
default group

Description
There is a single version command at the top of
the file. For this release set the version to 1.1.
The file may contain one to thirty group
commands.
Use this command to name each group. The
name must be unique and may contain up to 16
characters. One group must be identified as the
default group.
Each group command must contain one or
more range commands. The total number of
range commands across all groups can not
exceed 300. Each line identifies the range of
ports included in this group.
The hunt order in any range is first available, in
either ascending or descending order. The
default search order is ascend.
