Configuring Warning Tones

You can specify how often warning tones sound during the last 15 minutes of an unattended
conference to notify conferees that the conference is about to end. To implement this feature,
set the Auto Hang-up and Warning Tones parameters to Enabled in the Scheduler
configuration. See
176 Administration and Maintenance of the CS700/CS780 Audio Conferencing Server
Description
Select one of the following conference-wide settings:
Enabled (Default)—The moderator (leader) can modify
l
a Leader PIN by pressing 2 on a telephone keypad to
access the Default Conference Options menu before
the conference starts.
Disabled— The moderator cannot modify a Leader PIN
l
in the Default Conference Options menu before the
conference starts.
The minimum Leader PIN length is set to 4; the maximum
length is set to 16. Currently, you cannot modify these values.
If a conference leader changes the default Leader
(moderator) PIN code before the conference starts, the
system prompts the leader to enter a number that falls within
the minimum and maximum settings.
When Name Record/Playback is set to OPER in the
conference scheduler, this setting specifies where the system
places a participant who fails to press "#" after recording his
name.
Conf (Default)—The system places participants who
l
record a name, but who do not press #, into the
conference.
Enter—The system places participants who record a
l
name, but who do not press #, into the Enter queue.
