Copying the files to the system

This section describes how to copy the files from your PC or workstation to the system.
To copy PIN code files to the system:
1. Navigate to the directory on your system where the PIN code files are stored.
cd /usr/dcb/dbase/bridgedb/batchdata/
2. Start an FTP session with the destination system for the PIN code files.
ftp <system_name>
3. Enter the log information at the user prompt.
login: brdgdbo
Password:*******
4. Change the directory to the location of the data files:
cd /usr/dcb/dbase/bridgedb/batchdata/
5. Enter
binary
ftp> binary
6. Run the
put pinlist.txt pinlist.txt
or workstation to the system /usr/dcb/dbase/bridgedb/batchdata/ directory.
7. Run the
put pins.txt pins.txt
the system /usr/dcb/dbase/bridgedb/batchdata/ directory.
8. Type the command:
ls-l
to list files in the /usr/dcb/dbase/bridgedb/batchdata/ directory and verify that the files were
copied.
9. Exit the FTP session.
ftp> quit

Loading PIN Codes and PIN Lists to into Bridgedb

Before you attempt to load PIN Codes or Pin Lists, verify that the pinlist.txt and pins.txt files are
located in the /usr/dcb/dbase/bridgedb/batchdata/ directory on the system. See
