This redbook was produced by a team of specialists from around the world
working at the International Technical Support Organization, Raleigh Center.
The team - Werner, Byron, Hendrik
Byron Braswell is a Networking Professional at the International Technical
Support Organization, Raleigh Center. He received a bachelor's degree in
Physics and a master's degree in Computer Sciences from Texas A&M
University. He writes extensively in the areas of networking, host integration, and
personal computer software. Before joining the ITSO four years ago, Byron
worked in IBM Learning Services Development in networking education
development.
Hendrik Ernst has worked for Computer Service GmbH in Erfurt since 1998
performing Netfinity® presales support. In 1999, he joined the German Country
Postsales Support Team, specializing in the Netfinity Server, IBM ^
xSeries, Microsoft® Cluster Services and storage solutions.
Werner Fischer is an IT Specialist in IBM Global Services, Integrated
Technology Services in Austria. He has three years of experience in the high
availability field. He has worked at IBM for two years, including one year at the
EMEA Storage ATS (Advanced Technical Support) in Mainz, Germany. His
areas of expertise include planning and implementation of Linux® high
availability clusters, SAN disk and tape solutions, and hierarchical storage
management environments. Werner holds a master's degree in Computer and
