Configuring a Physical X.25 Port

To run a physical port as X.25, make sure the following are properly configured:
Node
parameters, which is general configuration that must be done no matter
which protocols will be run in the node. See Chapter 4.
RLPs
that will contain the interface(s) to the user device(s), network, and/or
X.25 PVC, plus Line Interface Card(s) supporting the ports that will be the inter-
faces. See Chapter 5.
Protocol(s): X.25 and any others that will be transmitted over the network. See
Chapter 5.
X.25 port(s) (see below) that will connect to the user device(s), network, and/or
PVC(s).
Subscriber ID(s)
FRX4000/6000.
Before configuring a logical X.25 port, make sure these are properly configured:
Protocol(s)
that will be transmitted over the logical port. See Chapter 5.
Physical frame relay port
and Chapter 7.
Once the necessary Node
parameters have been configured, press
from the Main Menu. When prompted, enter:
