Using HP VEE with
A slower, but still popular system, is one that uses a command module with
a HP-IB connection to the computer. In systems that use a command module
a Command Module
(i.e. HP E1300/1/6, HP E1405/6), HP VEE's Direct I/O register access
cannot be used because there is no direct backplane connection. Instead, the
HP E1313/E1413 data must be transferred using Direct I/O SCPI commands
as demonstrated in program 1413MAN3.VEE.
