Description
This enables/disables sending pause frames to the customer when the
customer exceeds the mapped bandwidth. Pause frames cause Ethernet
frames to be dropped as the buffer from the Ethernet to the SONET encap-
sulation overflows.
The default is disabled, which does not send pause frames.
This sets the speed of the Ethernet ports. The options are as follows:
Auto Negotiate: The port auto-negotiates with the customer equipment
to set the rate (10 or 100 Mbps). This also allows the port to perform
Auto MDI Crossover. This is the default.
100 Mbps: The port speed is fixed to 100 Mbps (100Base-TX).
10 Mbps: The port speed is fixed to 10 Mbps (10Base-T).
If Speed is set to Auto Negotiate, Duplex is negotiated with the customer
equipment. If Auto Negotiate is not selected, this option provisions Duplex.
The options are Full Duplex/Auto (the default) or Half Duplex Only.
If Speed is set to Auto Negotiate, Medium Dependent Interface Crossover
(MDIX) is negotiated with the customer equipment. If Auto Negotiate is not
selected, this provisions the crossover. The options are None/Auto (the
default) or Forced.
This enables/disables the addition of a 32-bit CRC to the end of GFP-
encapsulated frames in the SONET stream. The default is Disabled.
